June is Seniors Month as well as National Indigenous History Month (NIHM). We have a great performer that has put together a fantastic educational, interactive and fun program appropriate for seniors (and all ages) to celebrate Indigenous Month. See description and pictures below.

Adele Koehnke has been with Tina's Talent Agency for many years and is now offering sing-alongs as part of her program for seniors. Ask us for a 1 hour rate, or if you would like to book on a monthly basis, Adele is offering a special rate per booking (minimum 3 bookings). Adele can also include stories for NIHM.

STEVE BLUE - INDIGENOUS DRUMMING, SMUDGING, MENTAL HEALTH, DRUMMING CIRCLES & MORE!

Indigenous Drumming and Smudging Ceremony (around and including the months of June and September) - Participate in an interactive Indigenous Drumming and Smudging Ceremony while learning the beauty of Indigenous Culture. Individuals will learn the steps and partake in this peaceful Smudging Ritual. Afterwards, they will perform as a community on various Percussion and Drum instruments in a Traditional Powwow setting which will foster positive energy and socialization.

*Drum Circles (Year-round) - to promote community and increase socialization as well as physical movement through drumming, dancing, and singing.

Team Building Drum Circle with Staff Members - Enjoy a team building session to increase spirit and socialization of employees through this interactive program.

*Mental Health Awareness Week -  To promote socialization and a sense of community through group drumming which stimulates both mind and body as well as artistic expression through music. (Mental Health Awareness Week for 2025 is from May 5th-May 11th)

**Latin Percussionist/Dancer Duet - Enjoy an interactive show sharing the beauty of Latin Dancing and Percussion Drumming (year-round but especially in the months of July, August, and September. September 7th is Brazil Independence Day)

*Black History Month Celebration - Celebrate the culture of African Drumming through an interactive performance on African Percussion instruments where the History of such percussion is also presented. (February is Black History Month)

*Caribana - Celebrate Caribana Culture through an interactive performance on Jamaican and Trinidad  Percussion (Mainly for mid July-mid August)

Notes: Steve brings many, many instruments for audience participation and would appreciate a trolley/cart provided upon his arrival to a booking for easier setup. Steve is flexible with availability and of course cannot be available for everyone on specific days, so if you are flexible with the date of your event he would appreciate it so he can be enjoyed by all throughout the month/year. His performance can be appropriate for any time of year.
